Drop-off Shredding and More

If you’ve got less than 90 pounds (about 3 boxes) of paper to destroy, dropping them off at this location is a fast and simple option. Rates differ by location, but you’ll pay by the pound for shredding services. Your documents will be held in a secure, tamper-proof shred container inside the drop-off location until a mobile shred truck arrives to shred them at that drop-off location.

An important note — shredding drop-off locations don’t accept hard drives or electronics. They also don’t allow you to witness the shredding and cannot provide a certificate of destruction. Consider one of our other services if this doesn’t meet your needs.

Other service options include onsite mobile shredding, which allows you to schedule a shredding truck to come to you. Shipping a box of your documents to a destruction center is also an option with Ship ‘N’ Shred. Offsite shredding services involve picking up your documents for offsite destruction. And for your hard drive or electronic device destruction needs, we’ve got services for those, too.

How It Works

After you contact us via form or phone, Shred Nations will help you to determine your paper shredding needs, including how often you’ll need service and what service type will best meet your needs. We’ll then match you with one or more providers in our local network. Those providers will reach out to you with quotes, allowing you to make the right choice for your shredding needs.

When you’ve chosen a provider, you’ll prepare your documents for destruction. Depending on which service you’re using, you’ll either drop off your files at a location near you, or the local provider will travel to your location to pick up your documents for onsite or offsite shredding. After your files have been safely destroyed, you can ask for a certificate of destruction from most providers.
